Okay, I am so NOT a morning person. But in this case, planning ahead is key! Decide which of your titles you want to promote and set up those discounts! Free titles are always popular, or you can price your book(s) at $0.99 to try to appeal to readers more likely to continue reading (a lot of times, people who are looking for free books ONLY want free books, and once they finish the freebie, they are on to the next free story). If you do direct sales, consider bundle deals that will appeal to readers. And definitely plan to extend the promotion through Cyber Monday.

With the crazy competition during BFCM, it’s smart to plan on increasing your advertising budget during those 4 days. I recommend spending more than your usual rate to ensure your books can reach readers. And remember, while immediate profit is fantastic, the real win is introducing your stories to new readers who might just turn into loyal fans.

If you’re selling directly through your site, this is a great time to thank your loyal fans and new readers alike with unique offers and deals.
